I'm going to have a look at this car for donor parts, end of the week. Is this the kind of gear knob you need? ( see attached immage )
If all is well i'll buy the whole car and lots of other spare parts, you can have the knob if youre willing to pay the postal costs.

Chris, went to see the X 1/9 today, sorry to say it was not the one in the picture but a big pile of parts. The present owner was sure he still had the gear knob but had to look through his pile. So it could take a while, hope that's no problem.
I've bought the pile all the X 1/9 parts i need where there but can collect it only in 2 weeks time.

Chris , found the gear knob, it has a rubber part on the underside which is some how threaded and fits onto the gear handle. If you want it send me a p.m. with your adres.
