Hi everyone.
I am reluctantly selling my second car, that I have been building for a while now, due to the fact that all my son's problems have returned. I can't see me doing anything to the car for the forseable future so I would rather it went to a good home.
Let me briefly describe the car.
It is an early Transformer (Hawk) car with a Spyder chassis which is exactly the same as my Martini (now Chequered Flag) car.
It was fitted with a Lancia twin-cam engine that I have replaced with an Alfa 3.0L 24V V6 cloverleaf engine and 'box, exactly the same as my other car.
The engine is installed but not wired in and the plumbing hasn't been finished.
The dash is all wired and the tacho has been re-calibrated.
Brakes are standard Fiat/Beta as are the shocks/struts.
Lights have all been wired and assembled but the rear one are not fitted.
It has been sprayed white with black spoilers.
The bulkhead has been fireproofed.
The interior has not been touched so you can finish it just as you want.
The car was once a running car but not road registered but I have a V5 document to put it on a Q-plate if you don't fancy the SVA test.
This car is about 90% done and all the bits to finish it are there eg. bonnet clips, switches, windows, catches etc. so this car could be completed and on the road very quickly. You can have a choice of wheels and tyres and some spare bits depending on what you want it for, or you can have it less the engine/box if you would rather put a different unit in it.
The car is for sale at £11,000 or £10,000 less the engine/box.
All I want is a quick, hasle free sale because my movements are a bit erratic at the moment due to the fact that I am in and out of hospital with my son, but don't let that put you off ringing, to be honest, if you want to help me, come and buy the car.
