Hi Takao, sorry don't know about the steering wheels.
I looked at the postage cost and it's a lot more than these vents are worth! - Nearly £30!
I would suggest trying to get some Lotus Elise dash vents from a car or a dealer in Japan as your best solution. There are three types depending on the age of the Elise.
They are good quality and will cost a lot less than these vents I have for sale here with the postage.
Best Regards
Rob

It didn't go any higher in the end. I don't think £107 was so bad for such a rare thing?

It is not me, I think there is a Japanese guy building up a replica kit who is in the market looking for original parts. I am also in the market looking for original parts, but I need engine/gearbox/suspension/brake parts so that I have spares to cover the inevitable breakages once we start to rally the beast again. Specifically I am worried about the 24v engine, and if anybody knows where I can get new valves, pistons, rings, bearings etc.....for this motor it woul dbe greatly appreciated. Cheers Gary

I think Eurospares had a Tasman engine (F2 Dino) in a while ago. Are'nt they basically the same?

If I was you I would remove the 24V engine from the car, keep it somewhere safe, and use a 12V one.
The 24V engine is not original to the car and finding parts for it is near impossible. Any specialist will tell you that.
Only 50 engines were made very few are left. It's a part of automotive history that should be preserved. Additionally it's not the most reliable engine ever made, rather the contrary, so if anything goes wrong your car will be off the road for a very long time and will be repaired, if at all, at very high expense.
24V Dino engines go for 120K euros these days, Maglioli had one not long ago, he might still have it. He's the only part supplier for 24V engines as all others that have parts (Thomas, Udo, Dennis, Randle, ...) are unwilling to sell.
Roberto in in the process of remanufacturing 24V heads but he has so many problems and the enterprise is so expensive I frankly do not think he will ever succeed.

Tryphon, in my head I agree, in my heart I want to play with the 24V. The car came with a spare 12V engine which I will fit until I get the parts to be able to rebuild the 24V if need be. I do have a line on another original 24V engine and will let you know if I am able to secure it.
If parts are hard it may be worth pulling it down and sending off teh parts for re-manufacture, is this what Robert is doing?

Roberto Cassetta decided, somewhat against his will..., to recast 24V heads. The latest news he told me was that if he had to do it again he might not.
Numerous problems extremely high cost, no market.
Even if heads were available it's all the other small bits that are made of unobtainium, most of them cast like carb to manifold cups, water ways oout of the head, etc. Near impossible to machine. Valves, camshafts, valve covers are non-issues. You can have custom pistons made.
Be careful with the 24V. This is a race engine and as such it is not designed to either last or be reliable for any other use.
Don't over-rev it and make sure everything is perfect before using it.
