I have found the Image wheels website but I don't have a build manual with my car (part finished project) :~( So I'm missing some vital info hence looking for a few details regarding wheels.
I would like to know the dimensions of the wheels for a Hawk Stradale, I'll be fitting the Hawk 98 PCD 5 stud hub kit.
So are they 14" or 15" 8.0 or 8.5?
Do you run wider rims at the back or all 4 wheels the same width?
At the moment I have the Beta brakes but I have the 164 brakes and will be converting to these at the same time as the hubs being converted.
Many thanks in advance

Generally they are 15" as this was the size of the original wheels. You might get away with a +1 (16") - it depends on the tire profile and how much clearance you want in the wheel well. I'd ask someone whose actually done it first, though. I'm not sure of the offset - Gerry will know this and the correct widths though. My car is running 15x8 & 15x12 (front & rear) but it has the wide G4 arches. Tires for rears that wide can be difficult - the Pirelli PZero Asymetrics being the only ones I can find. I'm not sure about the width for the Stradale body - a guess would be 8" front and rear.

I know some of the rally cars ran 15" x 8.5 front and 15" x 9.5 rear so thats what I've been thinking of fitting to mine.
15" x 12??? wow they must be monsters, just enough room inbetween for the exhaust!!
Thanks for the info

I spoke with Gerry Hawkridge today regarding the wheels.
All the Hawk cars have the same offset apparently, from the Hub Face to the Inner Rim the measurement should be 4.5 Inches.
For Hawk Stradale cars using the Hawk 98 PCD hub conversion kit and 164 brakes:
Front 7.5 x 15"
Rear 8.5 x 15"
You have to modify the shafts, Integrale driveshafts can be used in place - but I'll post up more details about this after I visit him next week.

Thanks for the update. This info will be really useful when I get around to the 5 bolt hub conversion.
