Over the winter I will be fitting a 24v engine, therfore I am putting my 12v up for sale, It was rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago (racing miles!). it had the following parts renewed, Big ends, mains, thrust washers, con rod bolts, piston rings, competition valve springs. the rods and pistons were balanced (clover leaf high CR pistons), Inlet ports and tracts were matched and gas flowed, the heads were skimmed to bring the CR up to 11:1. the cam belt tensioner was modified to diable the oil pressure mechanism. The cams fitted are Columbo and Bariani billet fast road cams supplied by EB spares, cam wheels slotted to allow accurate cam timing.
The engine currently runs a DTA mappable ECU, so there is no AFM. I am intending to sell the engine without ancillaries (as I am going to swap them on to the 24v engine so there is no alternator ECU or throttle potentiometer so this would suit someone with a 12v in need of a rebuild or looking for a simple route to a higher power output.
The price is £750 ( the cams alone cost over £600)

No but Keith Waite can graft an alfa 75 distributor on to one of the heads and I can continue with a single coil and distributor.
