Good day today all sunshine, yesterday a bit poor , with a low attendance. Two Strati there. Guy de Mayers' one on Gerry Hawkridge's stand, almost finished in its new livery. A couple of decals to come, but WOW! Top quality work and looks the dog's danglies. I think Guy is going to post a couple of pics of it.
Keith had his bronze Abingdon 1993 prize-winning Hawk there parked in the Italian exotica replica area, with a few Lamborghini and Ferrari replicas (Toyota MR2s to you and me) Oops, bitchy! It had been for sale for a while, but I think he's going to keep it now.
I picked up my new screen and door bins from Gerry, but I can't think of a safe place to store it until needed, so it's staying in the car wrapped in cushions, pillows and a duvet for now. I may have to build a crate for it so it can go in the garage.
If anybody has been following the spat between two of the UK kitcar magazines, there was a sparks were flying between them at the stand today. Entertaining, but not good for the industry's image.

Thanks for the kind words Chris, glad you liked the result of all the blood, sweat (but no tears!) It was great to see Keith there as well and even better news to hear he's keeping his car. Pictures are on a separate thread as I had trouble uplading them into the gallery tonight, something didn't want to play!
Hope you had as good a trip home as I did and managed togive some thought to discussions with Gerry!!
See you at Donnington? BUT if you're around the August bank holiday weekend I'll be in Hawick at my sisters and will try to drop in again! Hopefully I'll make it this time!
