Information at the web site http://www.goodwood.co.uk/fos/
World rallying
The latest contenders from some of the top works teams such as Ford, Subaru and Peugeot. Also, rallying greats from yore: fire-spitting 500bhp Group B cars of the 1980s, including Audi's Sport Quattro, Lancia's Delta S4 and Peugeot's 205 T16; limited-production Group 4 chargers like the Lancia Stratos and Alpine-Renault A110; and 'standard saloons, sideways with spotlights' (from Allard P-type to Escort RS2000) representing the days before purpose-built homologation specials.
There is a new 'rally stage' at the top end of the hill, in the wooded area.
Should make it well worth going to see the Strat and other rally cars in action.
Ticket-only. Due to other commitments, I can't make it on the cheaper days (Friday and Saturday) but will instead be down with the hordes on the Sunday.
Anyone else going along?
