First drive - 20 feet forwards, 20 feet back - wheeee! :D
Clutch definately not fully disengaging, but enough brake working. Reversing back into the garage is a bit sporting isn't it?

Front suspension's a bit high, and all 4 wheels are pointing different directions - about 15 degrees toe out I reckon! :o
You forget how small they are until you see it beside a familiar object....

That must be the world biggest jack!!!
Exactly which part of the car does it actually manage to fit under?

It's an 8 ton jack I borrow from the farm. The advantage is that it lifts up to about 2 1/2 feet and I can put the car onto the trestles with it. It is a bit of overkill otherwise!

well done Chris,
One small step for the car, one giant leap for satisfaction!
PS you want to try and reverse into a standard size Garage with Group 4 back end......very important to get your mirrors in the right place! ;)
Keep at it.

I will second that Rob - I've scraped mine once learning the hard way! It used to be driven straight in but these days it HAS to be reversed not only into the single garage but also onto the lift, the base of which is the same width as the rear track......

Shouldn't have any bother getting the front indicators 350mm off the ground Chris ;)
...now the hard work starts.
