Need to find some soft engine mounts for my twin cam installation. The ones I have are like rock and I'm getting some nasty vibration transmitted through to the chassis. Worst at idle, by far. I've a bad feeling it's a basic engine imbalance but I'm not of a mind to take it all apart just yet....
Anything out there folks?
Thanks.

You just need to put 10,000 miles on the car first.
The mounts will be a bit softer then... :D

Try Hawk. I have some bobbins from them that seem pretty soft.

Tim, if the TC is still in the car after 10,000 miles, I'll see if you're right :)
John, thanks, I'll see if gerry can help.

Betacar have provided used mounts quite cheaply in the past.
try them.

I've got a right hand side mount that came out of mine. Don't know where it lies on the saggy - to - pert scale though.

Chris,
That's the rectangular chappie, yes? I'll take it if so please - pert or saggy!
Cheers
