Possibly true but I'd not put money on it.

Also some photos on a 'French' Italien car site where there is a debate as to whether to photo is staged, worked on or what ever. The tie strap and jack under the car are interesting.

Just my humble opinion but I think they're photoshopped or pasted in (or similar)

I hope it doesn't rain as there is no evidence of any wipers!

On this one, the lhs mirror seems to have been displaced...

I take it that the car was put on display, but not actually being used?

From what I have read, John, the actual car competing with number 47 is a Ferrari.

What number is Nico?

Regarding that central pillar. Wouldn't it have been easier to make the screen, roof and doors all lift at once, something like the old nova kit. It wouldn't need pillars at all, giving 180 degree vision.

I am almost certain that the car will not get type approval with that central split in the screen - imagine what it would be like to drive. Worse than a Type 1 VW microbus/van/camper - particularly at 3 or 4 times the speed the Vdub was capable of!

Well, judging by the show car at Geneva, it would be very unlikely to be running at present.
