Well, I suppose I really should know this but anyway, here goes.
What does the VS stand for in the Olio Fiat decals? Also, any other decals used on the car such as Sias, Siem, and the windscreen strip 'tuttoturismo'?
Need to know for obvious reasons.
Thanks in anticipation.

SIEM are a manufacturer of headlights.

SIAS Acciai Speciali, Italian steel group

Tuttoturismo is an italian magazine

Olio Fiat is Fiat oils, the lubricant arm of the conglomerate. VS was a grade of oil for use in equatorial areas, rated "very sticky".

Hope "most" of this is useful Mick!

Hey Mick - I noticed that the "OLIO FIAT" logo is on a yellow background and that the car has yellow paint - I'll bet they are the same colour...... Have you matched them yet or are you painting the logo??
Hope you don't have the same saga as me with Pirelli & red!

Well Guy,

My printer assures me that he can match the paint colour I am using to ensure that the yellow and blue are identical when he produces the decals. I know what you mean but I will stress to him how important it is to match.

Who's doing your decals Mick?

Chris,
Its a small outfit just up the road from my factory. They do all kinds of vinyl decals not just vehicles. they are very good quality but having said that, I haven't had firm prices yet. I suppose I should be looking to pin them down soon. If I'm honest, I dont think price should be an issue either way. Dont want to spoil the ship for a ha'peth of tar as the saying goes.
I'll go round and talk to them then report back with more information.
Watch this space.

Mick.

I'm after a pair of the dark coloured Lancia ones for the front corners in front of the headlights. If you're having some made, there may be a discount for numbers?

Chris,
If you send me a PM with some 'ideal' sizes that you need, and any other info I should know, I'll ask. I.m going back to see them on Wednesday.

Cheers,
Mick

I think Guy got his from Pubblimais, who did the originals. They're in the "Suppliers" section.

Dare you divulge their cost Guy?

I'll try and pin my guys down on a cost as a comparison if nothing else. At least they're local, and speak english. Always an advantage dont you think.

Sure - but don't forget that I've had mine on the shelf for almost a year now! Final cost, give or take, was €500 shipped to my front door and there are a LOT of tattoos - it's going to take a week just to put them on!!

28 x 8 centimetri dovrebbero riempire lo spazio. ;)

Sorry, Mick, 28 x 8 cm should fill the space.
