has anybody got a fuel tank filler neck from a 24 valve alfa, the bit with the cap and inner flap?

I've got one sitting on my drive, but it is about to be taken away very soon!

How easy is that part to remove from the car?

Especially considering that the car still has some fuel in it, and I can't get into the boot area any more - it's full of junk!

Don't suppose you want to take what's left of the car? ;)

Contact your local council, most operate a scheme to take away unloved vehicles free of charge, just done that myself.
The filler neck comes off quite easily, open the fuel flap, use a bashometer and old screwdriver to loosen the threaded plastic ring (anticlockwise, unless, if it was on the nearside then it may be a left hand thread ;) ?!!
then chop through the plastic neck with a hacksaw blade, you can syphon off the excess fuel but remember to take your mouth of the pipe at the right moment, cos it doesn't taste nice.(thinking back to yesterday) will i die?

Will see you right for a pint or two.

Got the part off yesterday - after getting through a couple of junior hacksaw blades!

Send me a pm with your address (even though I'm sure I have got it already) and I'll send the part on to you this week...
