Hi Chris
You can get Brand new ones for about £10 from Chad at the Monte Hospital http://www.montehospital.co.uk/ He does new bezels for them too, which makes a big difference to how they look when installed. He does new stalks as well with the flat curved ends which look right to me. Why bother with old worn and burnt out switches when you can get them new I say :)

PS
I fitted those new Shocks a few weeks ago, went in a treat, direct swop. Ride and front end grip is much better, I've just set the damping about half way for now till I get chance to fine tune.
cheers

Is that the Gaz ones Rob? I've just got a pair with rose joint ends off eBay.

Thanks for that. I bought a secondhand clutch lever with new master, slave and reservoir from Chad in the past, so I know who you're talking about.

Chris
Yes, Rob's talking about the GAZ front shocks, but with rubber bushes.

Which type of rocker switch(s) did you get from Chad?

I've got two rockers from an old 124 sport, one click light switch and another for the dash lights. I remember my other car had a two position switch for the headlights. It could be clicked either side of OFF. 'Top of the switch in for the first position and down for the second. Did you get one like that from Chad?

I noticed that the light switch he sells for the S1 Monte has the right marking?

Hi Chris / Chris
Yep Gaz coilovers, I would have prefered rose jointed, but for what we paid it was worth the sacrifice for now.

And yes the dash switch I went for was the two position one. In at the top for just my sidelights then down as normal to pop my headlights. I then have side dip and main on the stalk. Not sure if this was how it should be but it works for me! :)
Cheers Rob

Yes, that's how the all the light switches worked on the other car too. I'll strive to get this one the same.
