Does anyone know if this method of securing front brake lines is acceptable to the SVA man?
I am using stainless flexible braided lines with a clear plastic protective coating. The method in the picture does seem to make sense to me because it keeps the lines away from any moving parts all the way to the caliper connection but I have to admit, sometimes things that seem to make sense, seem to be unacceptable.
Any thoughts or comments?

Cheers,

Hi Mick,
The SVA man should have no problem with that method at all, just use a small section of rubber hose where you tie wrap the brake line to the wishbone and make sure you leave enough slack at the caliper end to allow the wheel to move from lock to lock without pulling the line too tight or into the path of the spring.

Thanks for that Craig,

Nice to hear from you again. Are you getting on with your build yet?

Hi Mick / Craig. This bit Craig has mentioned is very important, also that there is enough play when on 'full droop' lock to lock. Be careful that the pipe doesn't rub anything when going lock to lock too. My SVA man mentioned that you weren't supposed to use cable ties on Brake lines, but was happy they were away from everything so on balance was ok. My rears we done just like the picture above. I think so long as the line has a perminent fixing on the body end you should be ok.
