Even to call it that is being hotly debated in enthusiast circles! I know the Fenomenon Stratos is controversial but as enthusiasts you all should consider yourselves fortunate that it at least is obviously an evolution of the original. The X1/99 concept, despite being a design study by college students, is being considered for production by Fiat, and not only does it look nothing like an X1/9, but if it is produced, it is to be front engine front wheel drive!
