Is a sloping bulkhead required for a v6 Honda or Alfa installation? In my parts collection there is a fibreglass flat bulkhead and a large piece of alu, guess this alu is the sloping part. How much slope is common?

Don't need a sloping bulkhead for any engine, but it does give more room.
The sloping bulkhead is a contoured piece withrecessed sections to accommodate the eat backs, so it doesn't sound like your's is one. The fibre bit is a trim for the cabin side of the ally.
Thought there was a pic of a sloping bulkhead on the forum somewhere, but I can't see it .

It was Scott McGill that was going to post a photo of his bulkhead, I thought I'd seen the pic, but can't find it anywhere - are you out there Scott?

Chris,
I know I have a picture of that thing somewhere, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. If I can get into the garage tonight (we got a foot of snow over the weekend, and the doors may be frozen shut) I'll take a digital picture and post it. I'll also see if I can get a measurement on the angle.

All,
I got a few pictures of the bulkhead in my car. Anybody still need to see them?

Put them in the gallery Scott, you never know when they'll be useful!

Can't seem to upload files to the gallery. Is there some trick to it, or am I experiencing a network glitch?

Hi Scott,
I think the gallery has been broken for quite some time. I've ended up trimming any images down to 500 x whatever and attaching them direct to the posts.

Chris,
I'll try and sort that in the next couple of weeks.
