Is there anybody who can help me find the Keyed washers used on the front stub axles and are they also used as Tab washers to lock the nut.
I have so far drawn a blank with my FIAT dealer
getting desperate

Front hub nuts are deformed on the outer edge, so that they lock into the groove in the stub axle. You're only supposed to use them once.
The washer just locates on the stub and groove, and doesn't spin.
There have been some front wheel bearing kits for sale on eBay recently, but I can't see any on there just now.
I know for certain that the front wheel bearings are identical to Fiat Dino (non spinner type) and Ferrari 246/308 front hub bearings, so you could get them from Superformance:
http://www.superformance.co.uk/parts/fiat/diff2k3.htm#frontwheelbear
or the hub and bearings (but not the upright) are probably the same as a Fiat 124, so 124 Spider parts suppliers might be a source. 'Not 100% sure about that one though.
The only thing is that you'll pay full price for them from a regular supplier.

I bought some recently from halfords - not a problem to come by, cost was about £12 and came with both a right and left sided nut.

Many thaks to Chris,Andy & Roger,
I have the bearings, it was just the method of securing the nut that was holding me up and being able to purchase the washer that fits the keyway.
Next question! are the dust caps available for the Hawk 5 stud hubs.
Have a good Christmas every one
Lyndon.

Yes, been there! I end up getting my dust caps and tab washers from a Lada specialist. All parts second hand for about £5 delivered - cheapest part on the car! If you want the name of the guy let me know.

Spiderpoint still can't supply the hubcaps. they keep saying try again in a few months.
Who's the 2nd hand Lada man Andrew?

Thanks again Andrew,
Its funny how something that appears to be so minor can delay progress in the build process; now I can relax knowing the parts are available,
Lyndon.
