Shower proof cockpit cover especially made for Stratos. Just covers roof and glass to stop water ingress into cab. Held down with small elastic straps. Ideal for cars going on Monte Carlo Run! I need 6 orders to make this viable to cover pattern costs etc. Approx £50.00 each - can be tailored to individual requirements.

I'm interested. Does it cover the louvre panel as well?

These are a great idea, and I'm sure they'll cover the louvres.
You've got this to come, (not if you have one of these) but a Stratos DOES leak.
My first car's carpets got wet rot in a small area because of this, and the dashboard sides were often like a wet sponge. It was a couple of months before I got a garage sorted out to keep the car dry and it didn't come soon enough!
With the windows held at one point only, there's never enough to hold them against the door rubbers for a good seal.

Hi Chris
What material would these be made from?

After discussing this project with our trimmer - it was decided just to cover the roof and the glass area with a couple of inches overlapping the body work. Held down with half a dozen or so thin bungee type hooks.
If you have cut-out the three holes in the rear panel above the engine then water is going to run onto the engine. If there is a requirement for the rear wing and louvre to be covered this will be more work for the trimmer and therefore will cost extra.
Material is going to be a shower proof nylon so that the cover can be packed away into a small bag and stowed. A full cover takes up valuable boot space.

A panel to go under the centre of the roof spoiler and cover the louvres should be feasible. It could hook onto the lowest louvre aperture at their outermost ends. It would limit the amount of rain going in the engine.

I'll register an interest also.
At present I use a Halford's nylon medium car cover, but it's like erecting a tent - needs bricks and guys all over, or the wind rips it off.
Where does it clip to? (I have a Corse, where the body just falls gently into the flat floor, with no side flanges to hook around). I usually try to use the wheel spokes.
Out of interest, I've never had any trouble with water through the front or rear louvres - it gets in, for sure, but doesn't lose me any sleep on the way through.
Arthur.
