Does anyone have a copy of Mr Crofts book on tuning Fiat twin cams for sale, for hire or "other"?
Thanks

Hi Shaun
You may still be to get one from Guy himself, he did have a few advertised on his website. http://www.guy-croft.com I found one through Amazon from one of their linked sites second hand a few years ago. Is there a particular bit you are after? send me a PM.
PS how is the car hunting going? I'm still after the best deal for our crossing in April....and I have the maps now to mark up from Steve.
cheers
Rob

It's truly invaluable if you've got a TC. Good luck on finding one - they occasionally turn up on ebay or half.com

Oddly enough this came up on the www.lancisti.net (http://www.lancisti.net) forum the other day, a secondhand copy just sold for £51 on eBay  and a new one from GC himself went for £100 a few weeks ago.
This proves they're getting collectable and hard to find - if you get stuck drop me a PM I have a slightly damaged copy you could have on long term loan, but some of the pages are goosed :o

I tried Guy Croft who has a number of books that are not for retail sale but could be for sale on ebay when he is struck for cash. Wasn't the original price about 20? 100 is a bit steep, GMC has a complete engine for sale at not that much more. Considering this is just a winter 'toy' project and it only cost 120 pounds I'll perhaps try and borrow a copy for a few days.
As for car hunting I had a good look at the car in bournemouth, excellent but a long way from being finished and a little pricy for a part started kit. Lots of bits with it though and it has been sitting next to a very nice Alfa bertone coupe thingy so it is in a good stable.
Looks like there is another corse just up for sale but a strange choice of engine, I'm sure there is a good reason though. There is one other car for sale in the North as well so might get round to have a look. Really, I'm considering a new lhd kit and perhaps leaving it with someone to get through the SVA, I'm terrified the cars will not be passed in a couple of years time.

I bought one from Which Kit bookstall at Stoneleigh for £25 last year. They may be worth a call at their office to see if they have any more.

Glad I got my personally signed copy direct from Guy a couple of years back...grand sum of £20.
I suppose I can always E-bay it if times get tight....surely a signed copy would fetch at least £200 :) (joking - I'll never part with it..).
