Any Stratos Replicas in North East England

Hi

Its coming up to the big 40 for me and I want to buy myself a toy to mark the occasion. Having drooled over Stratos pictures on and off for the last 20 years, I am considering taking the plunge and looking for one to buy.

Trouble is that I have never actually seen one in the flesh so to speak. If anyone knows anyone with a Stratos in North East England who would not mind me having a look at theirs (I live in Northumberland), then please let me know

Trouble is, we might not be too keen on revealing the whereabouts of valuable cars to people who won't even reveal their name! ;)

Ahh - caught out :rolleyes: ! - just I'm ultra sensitive to publishing my name, address, or phone numbers on the web. Just a private sort or person who doesn't like people being able to google my name and read what I've been upto !

Don't think I would get far in knicked Stratos - especially not in Northumberland :) !

Which bit of North Humber Land are you in? There are two just north of the border.

And a couple just north of the Humber, depends wether you fancy a trip north or south.

PS if anyone wants to nick mine the phrase "sticks out like a sore thumb" comes to mind, not the sort of car you would drive on the road without being slightly obvious, see the SR&GT thread, then you'll understand why!!

Thanks for the replies. Nice car Roger - dont think I would get far up the A1 without being noticed in that !

I live in Morpeth - about 20 miles North of Newcastle.
I'm happy to travel either way for a viewing if anyone is able to help.
