Gentlemen,
I just found out, that at least in the USA, Pirelli has discontinued the 345/35-15 PZeros. Someone should check into if they are gone worldwide.

Does anyone know of any other road legal options for 345/35-15s?
Besides the Yokohamas that I have heard not very nice things about.

Hallo guys
As I mentioned before I sent an message in Italian to the Pirelli main office asking about the eventually discontinued sizes.
The stupidity answer was (translated):
- "We at Pirelli customer service can not answer your questions.
Please go to your local tyre dealer and he will help you"
DAAA
Local tyre salesmen normally don't bother about anything except tyres for mainstream "euro-boxes".
There are extemely few of them that are willing to help you and most of them think you're a "pain in the xxx" anyway as you are careful about everything.
Thank God for the exceptions! Talking to my main (only) tyre salesWOMAN (40 miles away) she informs that Pirelli is very hard to deal with and get info from even for her.
Also she says that Michelin now are making the series of the old SB/TB range again and that those most likely are suitable replacements for the Pirellis.
Recommended size 29/61-15.

Thanks Luigi,
I did some more checking over here. I called three local dealers and was told they were no longer available.
So I emailed Pirelli customer support and was replied that they were still available. ?????
Then I phoned customer support and was finally told that yes they were discontinued from Europe. Oh well.
I looked into the Michelin TBs over here and so far the cheapest I have found was $400 each for the rears.
So at those prices, I will be looking into 17" wheels for my Stratos.

Link

You can switch to english by pressing the button but prices are only at the german part of site.
This link will give an estimate of prices and sizes available.
Probably you guys can find them locally as well.
Or perhaps; time for a group buy?
Maybe with Gerry Hawkridge as he maybe then can sell a complete set with nice wheels and tyres?
NOTE those slicks are ROAD LEGAL!!
Isn't it nice to have a tyre list mentioning the Stratos :)

Michelin TB tires can be had here:
http://www.horag.com/products/roadlegal/roadlegal.html
at the best prices in Europe.
Horag grants a 20% discount on the list prices available on the page above which already includes VAT.
You want the TB5, not the TB15 which is too soft for normal uses.
P.S.
I have a source which can obtain the TB tires with a 50% discount compared to the discounted Horag price, i.e. 140€ per 29/61-15 but they have to be picked up at the Michelin factory at Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Didn't Ryanair used to fly to Clermont-Ferrand, delivery for 2 pound + airport tax - well nearly.

That sounds interesting, I wonder if UK Customs would add import duty to a trailer load.... I suppose we could always surround them with crates of beer and cigarettes, they always seem to be sneaked through!

I do not know how he would react however if someone went down there with a truck to pickup 20 or more sets...
