You know of course that the original does not have a glove box lid or lock.

Hi Tryphon, correct of course, but the Beta 1st Series glovebox lock is the closest lock that we've found to match the boot lock on the Stratos....
Unless, of course, you know better?

OK Guy but it doesn't look like the original boot lock either, especially the key must be at least 2 times bigger...

Do you happen to know what the source of the original Stratos boot lock was then? It certainly wouldn't be a part unique to the Stratos.

I'm sorry I don't know from which car the original comes from, I also asked a freind about it and shown him the lock, he was unable to tell.

Thanks for asking Tryphon, how about a good close up picture so we can all start looking again??

What do you use for the actual glove box?
Is it a Beta or X19 part, or home made?
How much work involved to fit to a Corse?
Cheers for any info...

It's completely home made with dimensions guessed from photos of the original car. As far as I know noboby else has tried it and I think there is only one other replica out there with the correct door edge lights.... Like I've always said, the only regret I have about my car is not ordering a LHD chassis all those years ago!
