Could the moderator please state the correct fitting of the rear shell and the correct method of holding it down whilst rallying

There were no details in the old Allora manual I received with the car, so I just left it the way it was when I bought the car.
Then one day, I thought I'd try and find out the secret of driving a Stratos fast. I remembered that a certain Mr Waldergaard set 44 fastest stage times on the RAC with no back bodywork, so I thought "Aah ha, that's what I need to do".
Sadly, it didn't seem to do the same for my stage times, so it's back to the drawing board - got to find another way to go faster!!
All Suggestions Welcome .......

It even happens to the best.
Sadly, my backend won't stay on once it gets opened like the Stratos in John's picture.
Mine looks more like this .......

Well, sometimes no matter how hard you try, you come up a little short... or shorter as the case may be.
Seriously though - is the car going to be OK - I'd be really stressing if the back (or any other part) of mine got munched. Did it just fly off in the middle of a stage? If so, can it be repaired or are you going to have to replace it? I hope I don't sound too morbidly curious. (Is 'morbidly' a real word?)

It's back on, repaired, and repainted.
Yes, it came off mid-stage and had to be retrieved from the stage.
All adds to the excitement of the rallying!!!
