Does anyone know if the front brake hoses for an original Stratos are the same as those used on other Italian cars? The rears are easily found but I am having trouble finding new front hoses. I would like to find a new clutch hose also.

Randle,
I had mine custom made both front and rear in stainless braided teflon. The front ones are made 50cm longer than the original.
I don't think other Italian cars used the front hoses but if you need original rubber ones, which I think is a bad idea, Roberto must have some.

I will have teflon lines on my race cars but want to stay original on my stradale.

Why is that? One of the major problems of the Stratos is its braking which is even unacceptable in the Stradale. Fitting teflon hoses and using appropriate pads makes things quite better. If it's for originality I understand but still the braking distances of the Stradale are just dangerous from my point of view.
If you're interested I can sell you my originals which are in very good shape.

I honestly have never had braking problems on the road Stratos. Not like racing brakes but with the tall Michelin tires and rubber mounted suspension you can't push the car all that hard anyway but I still have fun with it. The race suspension makes the car so much better. I have the aluminum ATE front brakes on one car and Lockheed brakes all around on the 24-valve car. I would like to find another set of Lockheed front brakes as I have the correct front steering arm attachment for the Lockhheed brakes but you have to cut off part of it to use the ATE caliper which I am loathe to do. My front rubber hoses seem fine but was hoping to find some new ones.

There is a special Group 4 steering arm that goes with the ATE calipers. These were used in the early Group 4 cars and resemble the later style ones that you have with the difference that they provide fixings for the caliper too.
Last time I checked they were 750 euros each. See picture.
I also use the later style steering arms with the ATE calipers and have fabricated a part to fill the space at the rear of the steering arm.
