Seconded! I had a great time, and didn't spend too much (other than at the hotel bar with Gerry, Guy et al). Seeing all those Strats about makes me itch to finish mine. Monday morning it was pissing down and the carparks were a bit muddy - tractor and 4X4 were being used to extract cars from car park 2. There was one forlorn red Corse in the patch on Monday - whose was it?

Just want to add to Bernard's comments about Abingdon....

It was great to see so many SEC members who made the effort to come, and there's plenty room for more next year!!

Thanks to everyone who helped get the club site ready, display their cars, and then pack it all away again at the end of the day!

(Apologies to the lone display car on Monday. Please identify yourself and we'll compensate you for being being left on your own.....)

Special thanks to:

- Jerry and Sue Bailey for bringing their Motor home,
- Phil Jordan for lending us some of his lovely chairs and tables
(You can buy them from him at a very good price!!)
- Jane Smith for helping to sort out the Regalia.
- Everyone who brought a Stratos for the display
- Everyone who helped us get packed up at the end of the day..

Special mentions for making it a memorable day go to:

- Paul Hassall to answering to the name "Ian" all day
without getting annoyed about it......
- Rob Sanderson's red Nipple.... (It's a long story.....)
- Bernard for kissing me goodbye when we left.....
(I've still not washed my cheek since..)

Lots of fun! Looking forward to seeing you all at Abingdon.

Cheers, Nico/

It was my rather wet Allora there on Monday! Left Watford just when the rain started, J10 M1 the heavens opened, had to slow to 20mph, water not just coming in but spraying in from- side windows, roof vents, under the doors, even got a good shot of water from under the dash at one point! When we got to the show I thought at least I can put my jacket on thats in the boot, you guessed it,probably just one bucket full in there. Oh well, i didnt buy it to be sensible.
Saw Guy on the Hawk stand and had a good chat. Looks like the wheels were worth the effort, very nice.
Hope to see you all this year, will come to as many events as possible, but I have a pretty full racing calander for the next six months.
See you all soon,
Tom.

Hi Tom, don't forget to send me that outline of your side glass with the pivot holes marked so I can compare it to the perspex ones I have.
Have you checked to see if you can make Abingdon or are you definately going to Le Mans?
