In my quest to build a quick X1/9 I've acquired the following parts:
1). A 2 litre engine previously fitted to a Transformer kit. This was built for a Midlands firm which used it prior to their demonstrator's change to V6 power. Approx. 170 bhp with all the mods: cams, water pump, oil pump, heads, etc. Around 5000 miles on this engine.
2). Twin 44IDFs on an italian manifold. Brand new, never used. Bought and modified to fit the manifold from Southern Carbs in London.
3). Full, one-piece exhaust system from head to tailpipe c/w decent tubular headers.
I've decided to concentrate my efforts into making the best of my Faran Eliminator kits roadworthy so these items are superfluous to my needs. As they were originally (bar the carbs) fitted to a Stratos kit, they are fully compatible.
