Ok, please excuse the new thread on this subject but this is a formal request for anyone out there who has a spare pair of side windows in any condition who is willing to either loan them to the club or sell them outright to step forward. Scratches won't affect the moulding process, nor will any marks.
We need an original pair to make accurate moulds to start the next consortium project. The plexiglass ones Gerry produced were made from moulds taken off Roger Perrys car but have deteriorated over the years to the point where they are not accurate enough to use to make new ones for glass. They will do for the plexiglass ones for the forseeable future.
If there is anyone who wishes to part exchange a pair of glass windows for plexiglass plus cash please let me know, I have a set of brand new unfittted ones if needed.
