The original nose badge is identical to the Lancia Fulvia Sedan hub cap badge but these are impossible to find new and used ones are generally corroded beyond use. There are some available newly remanufactured from Omicron but these Fulvia Coupe S1 hub caps look remarkably similar to the Sedan. At the price it may be worth a look to see if the studs can be removed from any decent badges and new studs glued in place.

If you're suggesting these as a starting point for a nose badge, there is another way. There's a bloke from Holland who sells original Stratos nosebadges on eBay from time to time. I got one from him, and they look the mutt's nuts. I can try and trawl up his contact details if anyone wants. I think I paid about £20- £25.

They are exactly the same as the reproductions sold by Omicron.
His contact details are from Ebay where he keeps a "Store".

I have dealt with Wil on a number of occaisions for odd bits for the Spider and always found him to be excellent! The only complaint I ever had was a faulty indicator lense (hole in it from manufacture) which he replaced free of charge and didn't even want the old one back as I think he trusted me by then! Recommended!

And here's a reversing lense suitable for the Stratos from Wil, should really have square rather than rounded corners but this type will be more SVA friendly assuming it has E markings.

And these may be an alternative to the Dino Coupe if you can find a suitable reflector!

I specifically asked him if they were reproduction or original - he said they were original. Doen't really matter if they're indistinguishable!

well Chris, the one I bought from him came in exactly the same box as others that have come from Omicron. It also felt heavier than the original badge I had on my car. I bought that badge years ago when it was attached to a new (unopened bag) Fulvia Sedan hub cap. Visually the two were identical in size and shape but the blue dye/paint on the reproductions was a lighter colour and seemed thinner plus there was overspray. Having said all that I don't think the reproductions are made of Mazak which corrodes faster than 70's steel!
If you want to do the comparison I still have my original badge and will happily bring it Abingdon. But it's not for sale at any price! Underneath my lamp pod is a big hole where the wiring loom comes through the body - it's right where the nose badge sits so if I ever decide to run without the lamp pod I won't have unsightly holes visible in the body! And the holes for the pod mounting were also countersunk to take painted bolts as well! Shame I scratched it putting it together the first time - good job it will be painted again this year!

I had contacted Wil just three days ago and he is out of the nose badges and doesn't seem to be getting any more.

Try Omicron in Norfolk, they will have a stock I'm sure.
There is a link somewhere on this site!

Was that a purple and pink patterned box about 10X10X3 cm?

How did you know???? Can't remember who I passed it on to at Abingdon last year, may have been Dave Clark, but that's when i sold it.
There was an earlier effort to reproduce them and those badges occaisionally turn up at autojumbles but the quality is very poor and they can be identified by the black paint instead of the dark blue.
