Hi all could one of you 24V guys measure the distance between the rocker covers for me please just wondered if there was enough room to fit a carb in. Its doubtful as its to tight on a 12V unless you place it above the rocker covers, but I would still like to know the measurement. Also is there a 4 stud disc approx 285mm to fit a 58mm spigot & whats it off, Reguards Mark.

It's about 145mm at the tightest (top) flange and I recon it would be tight with one carburettor, not to mention the tortuous manifolding to feed 6 ports from one choke! (I once put a single SU on a Lotus TwinCam during the fuel crisis but that's another story..)
How about going really low-tech and fitting an external wick carburettor!!

with a carb so far from the inlet valves, the mix would need a little extra assistance - I'd recommend a supercharger to give it a little push

Alfa Romeo DID make a car with the 12v engine and triple carbs.
It was a homologation special GTV from the 1980s with an big NACA duct in the bonnet.
The chances of getting hold of the intake manifold from one would be a bit slim.

Triple carbs = pah! The Alfa Six had six single choke Weber carbs!
Don't consider it though, they're a nightmare.

It looks like your trying the same thing with the brakes as me, Lancia Integrale will fit (1989) these are four stud 98mm PCD, but I'm having problems getting the wheels I’ve got the clear the caliper (Hi Spec Four pots I hope) with the offset that these disks have, but give them a go about £70 the pair.
Ps Let me know if you find an alternative with more off set.

But it may well be possible to get the intake manifolds from AHM, for either 12v or 24v Alfa's, and use those for carbs?
That depends on whether the mounting flange for the injector trumpets is the same as for a Weber/Dellorto carb (which it may well be), but also on whether the pairing of intakes will match up for a twin-choke carb (which I very much doubt).

Hi Mark
I thought you were going 5 Stud with 164 discs and having the new wheels????????
PS let me know what you want to do about your Thema front brakes - are these not about the same size as the Integrale ones BAS mentioned???
cheers
