As supplied by the Monte Hospital. Fits 3/8 (15mm) hose. ID 14mm, OD is 18mm Solid brass with stainless screw. Doesn't fit my 12mm hose, no matter how I try. £15

Have you looked in the Demon Tweeks catalogue? They do Samco Sport hoses which include straight reducers, 19mm to 16mm are £7.70 each which migh solve the problem. Alternatively, why not try a crude fix, two rubber pipes, one inside the other glued together with a little puncture repair glue and tightly clamped?

I don't think there's room for the first option, without a reroute. I have an allergic response to the second!

Well - It's how I managed to reduce at least one of the main pipes off the thermostat (big oval one) down to 35mm and it's still holding strong. (Ooops - shouldn't say that really but I've been saying that about the Alfa 145 for the last 8 years and 100,000 miles and it still hasn't let me down. Ever! Who says Alfas are unreliable!)
