Hi all Does anybody know if the 164 discs have a spigot on them to fit the wheel ie 58mm for the rear, and also does the five stud intergrale hub have a spigot and if so what size. Reguards Mark.

Mark,

Not sure what you are referring to by way of "spigot". The center bore on the Alfa wheels is about 58mm though, so I'm assuming that you're talking about the feature on the hub that centers the wheel?

If so, the Alfa discs don't have one. They are flat in the center with a hole that fits over the centering feature on the hub. I've got the Alfa discs sitting on my car now, with the Integrale hubs, and both parts seem to fit together just fine.

The hub center protrudes through the disc by a fair amount, and has plenty of surface available for centering the wheels. I have not yet mounted a set of wheels on the car, since I still have to adjust the spring seats on the rear struts so they will clear the tire.

Hope this answers your question.

cheers

Is there not a 6th hole for a stud to fix the disc to the hub? I must dig them out and see.

Chris,

I believe there is a 6th hole for the stud you mentioned, at least in the Integrale Hubs. I can't remember now if the alloy front hubs are similarly finished. Been a while since I've looked at those, and I haven't yet installed them.

In fact, I think I have that stud screwed in to hold the rear discs in place, since I have neither wheels nor calipers on the car at present.

I may need to omit that stud later, or drill a countersunk hole in the disc and replace the stud with a flat head screw. I don't think the replica coffin spokes have the extra hole on the mounting surface.
