To be honest Chris I really do not know the value of this engine but if you make me an offer and if it sounds OK, then I will sell, as I have no intreast in Fiat engines !! (Sorry any Fiat fans out there ):p
At the monent it is still in the car, mybe If I put the phone up against the engine you could here it running !!!!!

Gerry,

My enquiry is only very tentative at the moment and is dependant on how I get on with my curent TC problems. I'll be honest, I would be looking to pay not very much at all - probably way less than it's worth as all I want is a short-term and very low-cost fix. I doubt you would be interested in parting it out (I might be wanting an exhaust) - probably far better to sell it complete.

To give you an idea of the sort of figures I might be looking at to solve my current TC problems - if I have to fit some new cams, they will cost me about £200. If I have to play about making an exhaust, that'll probably be another £150. I could of course get lucky and manage to find some parts cheaper, but me and lucky don't seem to go together very often.

Best regard me as a last-resort buyer as I don't want to waste anyones time.

Chris, I also have spare cylinder heads(2) and cams and a lot of more spares that came with the car !. and complete bottom half of an engine newly rebuild and never used.

Gerry,

Mmmm, interesting! I have reassembled my engine but have yet to run it up again. If it still leaks, I might well be looking for some cams & carriers.

Hi there,
Do you still have the engine? What do you want for it now?
Regards,

Paul

Hi Junior,
I still have the engine, not too many customers for this type of engine. I am still looking for 750 Euro or approx. £500 sterling. Still complete as listed and in perfect condition but now has done a total of 350 from full rebuild. (V6 now fitted).
Regards,
Gerard Mc Carthy.

GMC - you're looking in the wrong places if you can't find customers for that engine, even in bits, there's something far wrong. There's always ebay after all....... :D
