Anybody any experience of this? It uses MAPP gas + oxygen, from small cylinders for brazing/cutting/welding. I can't get hot enough to silver solder with propane/butane mix blowlamp, but I don't need to go as far as investing in oxyacetylene gear (I'd blow up the neighbourhood). Any comments folks?

Hi Chris
Yes I use one for the same reasons.
I've brazed with it and used it with Lumiweld to do alloy too so it is quite flexible, Should easily cope with silver solder.
You can get different nozzles for particular jobs, I went for a swirl one in the end. Much hotter flame than propane, not sure about cutting though.
cheers

Thanks, Rob. I've bought one today, so I'll blow something up once the kids are in bed!
