Great site! Thats a breathtaking car. I love how in the 70’s and the 80’s there was this wonderful design style of what the future would look like in transportation. Its so SciFi and extraterrestrial. And that soundtrack! Analog synths! Perfect!

It’s impossible to say what a ‘proper’ Stratos time would be round that track, except that’d be a whole lot quicker than the Stig’s! It’s a car that requires a distinctive driving style and, really, considerable experience. Also, the Strat was at its best on loose surfaces, where a skilled driver could exploit its wayward back end to good effect — tarmac was never its forte. The most depressing thing about the Top Gear debacle, however, was the description of the problems experienced with the test car (if indeed there really were any such problems) as ‘typically Lancia’(or somesuch) when the car in question was in fact an English-built replica with an Alfa-Romeo engine! A typical Clarkson cheap jibe, purely for effect.

Hello,this is a fennomenal car en allways be the best car of the world.
A Stratos is for me the best kick.And stay very special even 50 years
away.The car have a very agressive dryving style but stays special.
