wins Rally Championship
Following a successful year in which he notched up many class
victories, and took victory in both the SPRINT and RALLY at the Stratos
UK Motorsport Weekend, Gary Lomas took overall victory in the
Burnham-On-Sea Motor Club Stage Rally Championship.
Using his Stratos Replica, class victory in the Holrus Stages held
over the demanding military roads of the Epynt complex in Wales during
late November, was sufficient for Gary to put the title of of reach of
his nearest challenger, and make 2001 one of Gary's most successful
years of competition ever.
Gary's Stratos is currently undergoing a suspension overhaul ready
for the 2002 rally season, which will see him competing in a variety of
UK stage rallies, as well as a number of outings in France and
Belgium.
AND, naturally, he will be back to defend his Sprint and Rally titles
at the 2002 Stratos UK Motorsport Weekend.
